Back Straddle with Tails, also called Skirt pose, is a fun variation of Back Straddle that we often teach in bachelorette party classes or with day 1 students who are feeling more playful. Students often want to get a photo of this skill because it looks very dramatic!

In addition to being fun and great for photo ops, this skill can be used to encourage beginner students to keep their legs straight and to get them horizontal to the floor in their back straddle. Good technique makes it look better and that’s important in any photo worthy skill for beginners on aerial silks.
