The Catchers Conditioning drills on aerial silk are really effective for building strength and control for any skills that involve or pass through a catchers wrap or same side wrap or same side crucifix support, including skills like Shoofly and Star Drops on aerial silks. These drills strengthen the core and legs, and train them to work together to help an aerialists resist gravity in a few different directions at once.
Our aerial silks tutorial video for Catchers Conditioning includes two different variations of this drill, important tips to make them effective, mistakes to avoid, and reminders to train evenly on both sides of the body for body balance.
