Opposite Side Salto, also sometimes called 360 Dive or Closed Dive, is a fun, secure, and very versatile forward dive on aerial silks. There are many ways to get into this skill, many ways to style it, and many exit options as well. Our tutorial video covers teaching progressions for this aerial silks dive, including two different entrances into the set-up, two different exits out of the dive, a drill for body position and engagement, and different variations of the dive to explore.
We teach this dive to our intermediate level aerial silk students, and explore variations of it as they gain experience from there.
