The Russian Step Through Turnaround Climb on aerial silks is a more advanced skill that comes from the basic Russian Step Through Climb. It adds a rotation that locks the wrap in so one leg can be free. The support created is also sometimes called a Pocket Lock.

This is an elegant climb and also an unusual support, so we encourage students to explore it and see where they can pause and how they can lean into it to get even more support. This is a great climb to add to choreography and to explore transitions from as well.
