Rebecca Split: Fake Knee Hang is a variation from a Rebecca Split set-up, that we refer to as a fake knee hang. That’s because the support is actually around the waist, but the knee stays bent like it would in a knee hang.
There are so many places to go from a Rebecca Split set-up, either on the way into the split or on the way out of it, that naming them all can become tricky. This variation is popular because the amount of support can feel surprising. We like it because exiting builds a bit of strength to climb back up from the fake knee hang. This is a variation that we introduce once students are comfortable in the Rebecca Split: Knee Hook Version.
