Leg lifting, when done properly, is challenging for the core. This excerpt from one of our full length classes goes deep and nerdy to build the pathway for leg lifting using proper core engagement. This helps eliminate jumping and it helps with inversions, leg lifts, and a variety of other aerial skills. It’s a great drill to add to a strength and conditioning program, but it can also be practiced on the ground just prior to working on inversions to reinforce the correct pathway during training.
