Aerial Ground Drill for V-ups Video Tutorial

V-ups are a great core exercise that strengthen the abdominals and the hip flexors. Because the legs are straight, there is more weight for those muscles to lift, making it more challenging than when done with bent knees. This drill translates directly into stronger leg lifts and inversions in the air. These can be done as part of a warm up to prepare for aerial practice, at the end of practice as conditioning, or performed separately as a home strengthening exercise between practice sessions.
