This ground drill can be used to train straight arm aerial inversions. We often use this drill in our conditioning classes or to troubleshoot aerial inversions for students who are having trouble. This is also a great drill to train active compression.
This drill uses a furniture slider to make the feet slide. If you have hard floors then socks or a towel work just as well.
All of those engagements that we use for this drill apply to straight arm aerial inversions as well. This drill is also similar to a related ground drill in our library called Inchworms.
